Cleaning your hat

To refresh a felt hat, brush lightly with a clean soft bristled brush in a small circular motion and clean off dust with a lint roller. You may clean small spots with a clean white cloth or a felt sponge. Do not use a cloth with dye, as the dye may transfer to the hat.

If it’s a straw hat, wipe down gently with a clean white damp cloth. Try to avoid our straw hats wet, natural fibers will expand or shrink and distort the shape and color.

If your hat gets wet, make sure the brim and the crown are shaped as you want them and let it dry naturally in a cool place. Do not blow dry.

For severe stains, we suggest taking your hat to a local hat repair shop to clean professionally.

Storing your hat

We recommend storing a hat in a box in a dry cool place so that the shape will maintain over time.

Our hats are made from natural materials and can be discolored and distorted the shape if exposed to long periods of heat, sunlight and moisture.
